This act makes many comics illegal.  It should be repealed.

Why the contribution is important

  Just as books with text should not be censored so should comics not be.  Many comics are made for adults and this act does not allow for that.  Many childrens comics could also come under this act if a judge wanted them to.  The act has never been used as far as I know but like the blasphemy act it could suddenly be used to restrict our freedom if ever a compaign group took a dislike to a comic.

I agree that a rating system would be really helpful - many comics and graphic novels are inappropriate for children.

Porn & blasphemy in the media generally should be banned.
It has been proven that this impacts on people's judgement & actions.
